Last updated: 30 July 2026. The short version: we store the email address, name and profile picture your sign-in provider shares, and nothing else.
When you sign in to KeoGeo using Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn or Facebook, our authentication provider (Auth0) confirms who you are and we record your email address, your name and your profile picture (as your provider supplies them) in our accounts register. That is the only personal information KeoGeo stores about you. We never see or store your password — sign-in happens entirely with the provider you choose.
Your email address is used to identify your account, to grant access to sign-in-gated tools such as BHPile, and — only if you opt in — to send occasional updates about new tools and courses. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone.
Donations and purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch KeoGeo's servers. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded. For a paid tool we also record which account bought it (your email address, the product, the Stripe session reference and the date) — that record is what lets you download the tool again later. For a KeoGeo Pro subscription we record the Stripe subscription and customer references, its status and the current period end against your account, and mark the account as Pro in the accounts register; that is how the tools know to show the batch processor. The one-time A$50 credit and the tool it was used on are recorded against the account in the same way as a purchase. These records are stored on Cloudflare and mirrored to the private Notion registers.
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in between visits. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookie-free and does not track you across sites, fingerprint your device, or collect personal information.
To understand which web tools are useful and how they are used, KeoGeo records a small usage log: which tool page was viewed, when a tool was opened or downloaded, and when a calculation was run — together with the time, the page it happened on, an anonymous browser-session identifier and, if you are signed in, the email address of your account. Inputs and results are never sent; the calculations run entirely in your browser. This log is stored on Cloudflare and mirrored to a private Notion workspace owned by KeoGeo, is used only to improve the tools and to show aggregate counts (page views and calculations) on the site, and is not sold or shared. Signed-out visits are recorded without any identifying information. You can ask for your entries to be deleted at any time — see Contact below.
Some free pages on KeoGeo — the courses page, the web tools index and the individual tool landing pages — display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve those ads, and may use your prior visits to this and other websites to show ads based on your interests. Google’s use of advertising cookies is governed by the Google Advertising policies, and you can review or turn off personalised advertising at any time at My Ad Center or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. If you are visiting from the EEA or UK you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set. We do not share your account details, course progress or any data you enter into the KeoGeo web tools with advertisers, and no advertising is shown inside the signed-in tools themselves.
KeoGeo relies on Auth0 (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, analytics and the usage log), Notion (accounts register and usage log) and Google AdSense (advertising on free pages). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you (your email address) or to delete your account and remove it entirely. Email hello@keogeo.io and we will action it promptly.
